and the fact that, though I thought it was super well known, pretty much nobody I work with or am related to know the twist. Handed it off to an ag science teacher, he is in for a SHOCK

If you haven't read it, it's a short enough read. I definitely recommend it to fans of the genre!

I think the blending of horror with contemporary drama stories is what I really like about his writing! But I get it's not everyone's favorite 😊

I cried in this book, happy tears and angry tears. Grady Hendrix has an uncanny way of embracing grief, empathy and hope in a way that I admire greatly. There were moments where I had to put the book down to breathe.
