It's dangerous to go alone.
Take this.
I have not myself, but I bought it for my husband and he played! I will!

YAAAAAY! Highly recommend the audio drama of it on Audible with a full cast and music. Just the first three books so far. But I read the entire series and wanted more so I listened to it when I went to bed.

My first too! And nothing ever replaced it, even Chrono Trigger. The combat system in Secret of Mana was incredible and no other RPG does it. I despise surprise pop-up turn-based battles. I like seeing an enemy and having the option to either kill it or move on.

If you like the SNES age of top-down RPGs like Chrono Trigger/Secret of Mana and Link to the Past, you will love Brain Lord. It has the dungeons and combat (plus fighting fairy companions with different abilities) of Zelda and the experience building of other RPGs.

I absolutely would! I ADORE indie games. What is the title? Promote yourself here, you should be super proud!

Oh, if I've played a game in a series and loved it, you can bet I've played every game in the franchise immediately after!

That is so hard! This book REALLY puts you right there in Russia after the revolution and makes you also feel hungry, cold, and hopeless right alongside the characters. But ultimately my greatest take away is hope. She did find her freedom. This book is overlooked but is just as relevant as 1984.

Oh! My first repost of something like this. THANK YOU! Also, solid choices! I HAD Goldeneye in my honorable mentions but took it off!

I know! I actually have two physical versions. One my dad was playing when he died in 1996 at 32 years old, and one I still play. I couldn't bring myself to use it in case I lost his save state.
