Honestly though the longer handle is so good. Turns out I really did need my arms to be ~4 feet longer. It turns out all of the fish want to exist just a few feet past your reach, it's their natural habitat.

Pulled these various critters out of a standing pond, no inlets or outlets, just thick clay bottom. A lot of them will probably fly away from my tank, lol, but for now they're all in the tank!
