I do not meet Medicaid requirements, but my healthcare premiums became affordable when Missouri expanded Medicaid.

Medicaid cuts will impact my insurance. It will impact my rural hospital. It will impact my life.

It’s all connected.

The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 called for dismantling the NOAA, which provides warnings of natural disasters, such as the deadly floods in Texas. The irony is that Heritage wanted these cuts because it’s angry that NOAA helps prove the reality of climate change--the thing causing floods.

I'm so embarrassed on how this country is ran and can get away with. This is sad for individuals such as myself and sadly won't get any better. My ❤️ to my fellow ESOL teachers and other teacher professionals in the field. #esol #schools

When you look at the list of institutions they want to defund: libraries, museums, the Smithsonian, public schools, PBS, NPR, archives, you can clearly see that the real threat to an authoritarian regime is an informed and educated public

Elon is upset that the public is staying informed. So many threats from him lately. We are public servants, not Elon servants.

A while back I asked folks why they’re joining Bluesky and the most common response I saw was, “I just want a good place to get my news” and, yall, no. Bad.
