I loved Xain'd Sleena in the arcade and always wished I had a home port. I had Soldier of Light on the C64 and didn't even realise it was supposed to be the same thing, THAT'S how bad of a port it was.

That's why I like to take all of January off each year if I can: to catch up on all the cool stuff I missed while adulting.

I notice a lot of folk, especially some well known YouTubers, are doing tacky AI-generated interpretations of retro games now as their click-bait thumbnails and interstitial graphics. I get that AI is a fun toy, but it's not why I watch those channels. In fact, it makes me kinda irrationally angry.
