Always warms my heart to visit the Commodore 64 displayed at ACMI. As a kid, I used to think that "Melbourne House" was just a publisher's name, and that games came from magical, far away lands, and not that the games I loved were *actually* made just down the road in Melbourne.

This was the bundle I got in Australia, upgrade from VIC-20. Not sure of the exact year, I think around 84 or 85, aged about 7. I later rebought this bundle in-box from eBay. Wonder if there's a copyright date or something printed on the box? I recall the next year or two, the C64C models came out.

Okay... So this is my first real taste of my first home brew beer in 24 years, and my first using a dry-hopped fresh wort kit. I've made it WAY TOO HOPPY which is okay by me - very bitter, but drinkable, just - but I don't think anyone else I know would enjoy it in the slightest.

Okay... So this is my first real taste of my first home brew beer in 24 years, and my first using a dry-hopped fresh wort kit. I've made it WAY TOO HOPPY which is okay by me - very bitter, but drinkable, just - but I don't think anyone else I know would enjoy it in the slightest.

People like to say that Google search results are getting worse, but 'garbage in, garbage out' also has a part to play. For example, googling an error message to find more info led me to this wonderful bit of advice.

Oh no. I've been so busy today that I'm just now learning about Akira Toriyama. Chrono Trigger was my first exposure to his work, then later DBZ, Blue Dragon and Dragon Quest. Such an iconic and influential artist. #RIP
