Good answer, thanks. I guess I assumed that once a plane is obsolete in one theatre it’s obsolete in all theatres. Also the Home Defence Sqns are an obscure part of RCAF history, at least to me.

Not sure if it’s covered in the article because paywall but even the mobilization of health care professionals for overseas service as in WW2 would hugely challenge Canadians who already think waiting times for treatment are bad.
