I took a chance on ordering some 1/2400 models from Panzerschiffe and thought I’d show some examples of their models, which are basic but ok. Three German Type 1934 destroyers and two light cruisers (Koln and Karlsruhe) for an early war Atlantic campaign I’m considering. #navalwargaming

Those look fantastic Richard. Those models compare quite favourably to the 1/2400 ships from Tumbling Dice. Looking forward to seeing your fleets in action

The sight that warms the cold heart of a skipper of a German commerce raider, the humble and delicious merchant ship. Also a Tumbling Dice model. Generic enough that it could also be used in a WW2 game.

Can you imagine sticking some missiles on a Carnival cruise ship and sending it to go defend Taiwan? Crazy, but that’s the concept of the Great War armoured cruiser. This is the Tumbling Dice model of HMS Otranto, which Craddock thought was too old to die at Coronel (!). Useful model to have.

Small, rusty, and feisty, Pelorus class protected cruiser. Also Tumbling Dice. God help her if she meets anything big and German.

Royal Navy Swiftsure class pre-dreadnought. There are two of these running around the Pacific and Indian oceans in our current game, both Admiral’s flagships. Also a Tumbling Dice model.

Armoured cruiser IJN Ibuki, also a Tumbling Dice model. In our current PBEM naval game we have ships of four allied nations combing the seas for German raiders.

French Dupleix class armoured cruiser. Tumbling Dice model. I quite like the two by two grouping of the funnels on the French cruisers.
