It’s not lost on me that a postal worker was doing the exact same thing when I rode by on the way home. I wish our bike infrastructure was actually infrastructure and not just paint and best wishes.

It’s not as funny when it’s truly life or death with a kid in tow. I’m so tired of feeling like it’s a gamble to walk or bike safely on a beautiful day when it’s the best option to go point a to point b. Short rant into the ether over.

Today, I was crossing with the stroller and a driver took an impatient left turn off of Piedmont - the car they cut around was waiting for me and other pedestrians to cross. It was a few feet behind us. Often I joke that people just really need to poop when they drive that bad.

I noticed this on my last few rides. Used to be one or two harried commuters. Am I the asshole if I just push through to exit??
