Love having an earthquake when it’s the Great Shakeout day. I recall this happening in 2010 too - a nice wobbly day to remind everyone to be prepared!

Had to “that’s not a parking spot” an old lady who parked & got out of her car at the start of a protected bike lane as I & my kid in tow were 1/2 a block away. There are postboxes everywhere, you’re in a car, find somewhere where you CAN park & drop your mail. Berkeley drivers are ding dongs.

I skip biking with my baby because of one or two spots on local routes that are wildly bad to navigate. It’s partially the street design, but also the abysmal and antisocial driving that’s so commonplace now. Completely ignoring stop signs is a regular occurrence on our walk to daycare.

Quite interesting watching TikTok stop working as I got the news alert that it stopped working. Also, wow my algorithm 😬

Ok the one thing I adored about Twitter was earthquake twitter…really hoping for the same over here on Bluesky!
