Harvard must realize that they are seen as pinnacle of American education, standing in the same air as Oxford and Cambridge. That $ will be spent by Congress and not reinvested for the benefit of our students. I pray they at least let the judge rule it was an unconstitutional request.

Columbia’s calculation was based on STEM vs. humanities and arts. The STEM machine requires govt support and the Humanities are considered dangerous. Sadly, others will do the same.

My child’s teacher keeps allowing her to turn in late work. I am grateful for the teacher’s caring but as a fellow teacher who says it’s due when is due, I am pissed.

I am enjoying being an academic at NCA but I am weary, troubled, or perhaps just old.. but I need early scholars of race to recognize that even when they think they are being radical and prophetic that it sometimes can be more performative for white applause. The game don’t change..
