Heartbreaking

It’s almost as if… appealing to the right… doesn’t win you votes on the right it just… loses you votes on the left. But I’m sure the whip smart minds in Labour will have a different take.

Oh completely. I actually re-watched it recently it’s just so so good. The racism and misogyny and BOOZE are extraordinary. I do have to skip Roger scenes though. He makes my skin crawl.

Mad Men and Succession. Absolutely irredeemable characters who we are utterly drawn in by. And man do I love Peggy. She’s awful. I adore her.

No. And they never can and we know that. But the work needs to start so much earlier than those conversations. We need to be empowering children and young people to think critically. It would save so much heartache down the line.

This goes to the heart of our social system, our fucked up class system, our education system which doesn’t teach people to analyse, to think, to learn - really learn - and keep learning. Something has to change.

I stopped and rescued a bee whilst on the phone to my Dr. yesterday and he was decidedly not charmed. Maybe he’s terrified of giant bees too.
