- I’d argue even moreso than just not adding captions in the first place. This specifically excludes people that are deaf, hard of hearing, have audio processing issues, etc. from accessing your content and I imagine it’s extremely confusing to see.

-Doesn’t confirm anything but implies that the plot point has indeed been changed from Nessa being granted the ability to walk, so we shall see.

I saw a lot of their commentary on the importance of casting a real wheelchair user but haven’t seen anything about them saying they’ll use CGI or exactly how this will be handled in part 2 so I would def love to see a source on that! The closest I’ve seen is this quote from Marissa Bode which-

Unfortunately, people with disabilities were overlooked in that regard in the original show, and I think it makes sense for a modern-day production to have some revisions in that area on a show that premiered over 20 years ago.

While there’s a ton I could say on that, I think this is enough: Is Elphaba actually de-greenified in the story? Why not? She isn’t, because it would negate the message and major themes of the story.

All these years, I thought all or most primaries would be as unhelpful as the one I was seeing; I was doing so much extra work managing my specialists and medications. I’m so happy this new doctor is going to take a little bit of that responsibility off my plate by helping with that!
