I would like a messaging service that was username based. That would add another level of privacy. It would stop apps from raiding your contacts lists to import new connections.

The one thing I don’t like about signal is the use of phone numbers as the default identifier.

They are the hippies now, anti vax, anti guns, pro organic food.

Which is insane because doors clearly make it safer. How does Morgan get on our roads? It has 3 wheels and door but lacks a roof.

Yeah far point. At least induction puts most of the heat into the pan not all around.

They say woks need the flame but I saw an electric arc wok the other day. It looked like pikachu electrocuting a wok so cool

If I was a chef I would be installing induction stoves not gas to help keep the kitchen cooler. It’s hard to aircon a kitchen because they have massive extraction fans to suck the gas fumes out as well as the cool air. With and induction stoves smaller extraction fans will be ok.

That’s ok, EVs can be charged when the solar is pumping, work place slow chargers need to be available for all. They don’t need to be charged when the evening demand is high.

It feels like it’s all gone to shit since Bowie died.
January 23, 2026 at 9:35 AM
What would be the advantage Magnus effect blades over modern blades or flat sheets like on a water pump wind mill? Do the blades need to be powered to spin?
January 23, 2026 at 9:30 AM
Is that in tassie?
January 20, 2026 at 11:49 AM
It clearly affected Sydney. That was woeful.
January 20, 2026 at 11:42 AM
Russia paid the uk and the us to look stupid
January 20, 2026 at 11:35 AM
Do data centres really have flat demand? I would have thought the power needed for the cooling systems would drop at night as the outside temperature dropped.

Looks like a euro only version. I think a hatch is infinitely more practical than a sedan.
I’m driving an i30 hatch at the moment. I see people in the sedan version and just assume they have a head full of rocks.
