I'm waiting outside for doors to open for a concert and someone in front of me brought their Steam Deck. I love it

In high school, I was complaining about how long the school day was and my teacher turned to me and said, "the days are long, but the years are short" and I was like "what the fuck are you talking about you lunatic" and then the bell rang and now I'm in my 30s.

And if you're buying books online, try going to your local indie bookstore's website OR buy from Bookshop.org!

Though a certain ~boycott~ ends tomorrow, indie bookshops need our support all year long.

We're not going anywhere 💓

Musk suffers from the same delusion as his fans: he imagines he knows things because he has money. This has caused him to repeatedly embarrass himself publicly, and the humiliation makes him more resentful of criticism instead of triggering self reflection. He shouldn't be anywhere near government

Insomnia isn't good for my mental health, but it's great for my reading goals.

Yesterday, I wrote in my journal, "i am at the point where one more minor inconvenience will make me cry a lot."

Today, I wrote, "The good news is that i was right, and I do enjoy being right."

I'm not sure if there's a difference between "girl dinner" and "depression dinner," but at least I'm eating.

Guy: "You listen to Chappell Roan? How long did it take you to learn the HOT TO GO dance?"

Me: "umm, not that long."

Guy: "Correct answer."

I don't know if I'll get to inbox zero this weekend, but I went from 2500+ to <1250, so that's a step.

Sometimes, I wonder if i have ADHD, especially because I work a lot with women who are diagnosed with it in adulthood.

But as I go through the symptoms I experience, most of them can also be attributed to depression and C-PTSD. I think that's the more likely cause.

Thank you for reading, I’m so proud of you! 💛

We are in a literacy crisis, we have to do everything possible to encourage reading and love of books 📚

Reading is not easy, it is a challenge we are worthy & capable of conquering. When we find that one story… oh! The wonder, the magic, the joy ✨

I wasn't sure what to expect when reading "The Vegetarian" by Han Kang, but I don't think I expected to just feel really sad.

This is advice every dem politician should take to heart.

Don’t sell against the competition.

Sell what you are doing to reduce people’s stress and make their life better

It’s not about what’s wrong with the competition. It’s about what is right with you
I found that the best way to build a business is to build a relationship with your customers ask how they are doing, how are the kids , how did their dad’s surgery go, show interest in them and mean it because they know what they want

I tend to listen to the same musicians over and over again, but I really want to expand my music taste.

What are your favorite, no-skip albums?

Considering a dozen eggs is about twice the price of a package of tofu, I'm going to be making a lot of tofu scramble.
