No...FIFA is actually pretty pro-money in futball. The politics in or out is tangental to the money. Now if viewership and revenue drops, they'll learn a lesson.

I'd like to agree with you, but after J6 a lot of conservatives expressed outrage only to gain time and distance from the event. We have to keep the pressure up or they'll fall right back in line.

For the next month, whenever I hear the national anthem, I'm taking a knee in a moment remembrance.

Tron was pretty good. I have no hope for HeMan, and not because of him.

Thing is, the man is totally transactional and had you caved and handed him a medal, he'd totally be doing the same thing right now.

Why? It is the best example of late stage capitalism in sports. 1-wealth among a few elites skew the market and the rich get richer 2- monetization over traditional rivalries 3- Barriers disguised as meritocracy- structural advantages skew outcomes. 4- the wealthy try to control labor for profit.

You have said it clearly. They see the world as a market with a few major national corporations. Those corporations gobble up minor market players and establish no-compete clauses with each other, realizing they gain more by colluding than by competing.

You are playing a different game of right and wrong. Trump is playing a game of might makes right. America would object on grounds of power.

Ending was fine. I was hoping for a bigger battle with the mind flayer, but otherwise ended satisfyingly.

Bad take John. I've lived among these folks and they are getting squeezed just like everyone else. A lot don't have an education and live paycheck to paycheck. They certainly don't feel privilaged. A better tack is explain to them how your way will benefit them along with marginalized people.

Don't forget that you have to dump your Bill Clinton wine and NFTs, and burn your Bill Clinton Bible.

Look up links between Affinity and Gazprom. Putin will give him a cut in nordtream and gazprom development for favorable treatment. There is a reason Witckoff and Trump are saying Europe must return to normal business with Russia. Their pocketbooks depend on it.

Yes he is, but if I were in a position to curate this in the next administration, I would gleefully replace Trump's pics with a dog turd on the sidewalk.

Ok, that was funny.

Eh..they took their ball and went home. Maybe do something classy, like have the NCAA make up a peace prize or something for them.
December 8, 2025 at 2:46 AM
Yes, but also I'm a little surprised schools, teams, and players are finding the economics of the GoDaddy mid bowl undesireable. They don't get enough kick backs to make it worth their while, except for the top draft picks?

I own WB stock which has been a dog losing money for a really long time, so welcome from that aspect.

100%. Jeffries is a poor leader. Just as corrupt as Trump.

Next they'll be scratching their heads and bemoaning how Joe Biden created such a trucker shortage.

I think this is the end for lil' Petey though. Notice how they didn't send him to Ukraine. My prediction is that in January, he'll step aside for family or another opportunity or some malarky after "fixing the military", and someone half way competent with fewer social media accounts steps in.
