Pretty pretty good for three players with freshmen eligibility on the OL. Does seem like the D can't steal gaps from 7 man spacing like they used to, showing up here.
Who’s winning the battle in the trenches? 💪

This chart shows opponent-adjusted line yards per play, a measure of how well teams control the line of scrimmage.

⬆️ = Strong run defense
➡️ = Powerful run blocking

Indiana stands out as the most consistent up front.

Evergreen unfortunately.
3-4 against 12 and lucky not to get PI. So dumb.

Bump.
Hillman not starting seems like a statement. I don’t get how you bench him but not Barham tho. He’s equally clueless.

Has to be Guy the rest of the way. Barham simply refuses to play force and it has killed us over and over and over again.

Hansen finally a full go just in time for Klein to lose his last remaining ligament. If Trey can't go you are down to one (1) good DT. Please do not put three out there. Please.

I'm glad @mgoblog.bsky.social saw it this way too. Elsewhere, there seemed to be much consternation in the M OL discourse, but I don't know how you can't be encouraged. The '24 M vs this same defense would have been a W00M situation instead of a 7.2 ypp W against a competent run defense.

Poggi letting 3TOs burn in his pocket letting NU setup the hail mary is coaching malpractice of the highest order and the most disappointing thing is that I am sure Sherrone does the same thing.

Hansen limited for OU just to Moss CMU guys, and now out entirely for NU is .... frustrating to say the least.
