Have you considered having things actually happen in your plot?

That being said, if there was an accessibility option to lower the hazard damage I wouldn't turn it on. I know I can do it, I just need the time and the patience. But I can see how that's frustrating to other players who don't have those things.

At 2 masks hazard damage some complex chains of platforming allow only 3 mistakes with little-to-no ability to heal. If you're unlucky enough to be hit from a small hazard to a large hazard, then suddenly it's 3 masks and ~2 mistakes. This especially affects boss runs.

I agree with all of this, I think my personal friction with the large-damage, large-heal balancing is that it makes exploration and platforming (my favourite part of these kinds of games) needlessly frustrating.

There was a solid chunk of time a couple years back, I was reading a Dresden File every 2 days. Haven't read a book since December though so my average is probably terrible 😅

This is extremely common in the UK (at least at a Primary and Secondary school level) known as "mixed fractions" but I guess not common elsewhere?

It's literally on our GCSE exams to know this notation 😅
