This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for good friends both IRL and online, okay-ish health for myself and my family, and the opportunity to do the things that I love to do. With that in mind, I love baking and I am always in charge of desserts. This year we have pumpkin and chocolate chip pecan pies!

My city is doing a Pride Weekend right now, and National Coming Out Day just happened. I feel like my exploration of where I fit on that spectrum was so gradual (and maybe not yet complete) but I would like to commemorate it this weekend with some friends. My first video game was Duck Hunt. My family got the NES with the Zapper and Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt when I was very young. I think it took me a week before I tried out SMB because I was having so much fun with the dog, and even kinda liked watching him the laugh.
Super Mario World was my first video game.
One of my earliest memories, I remember being at Toys R Us and my Grandma telling my Mom she should "Get the boys Mario Brothers"
We didn't get it that day but that night I remember asking my Mom what Mario was. Crazy to imagine not knowing now, of course
