Anyway, I’m really just posting this to remember it and because I’m a little suspicious that my grandpa died last night or something. My gma visited me the day after she died.
My mom is his point of contact and she’s on vacation right now and I don’t think she’d tell me if he did until she got back

She went into the bedroom and soon after I followed. I found her laying in bed under the covers looking happier than I’d ever seen her. Next to her was my grandpa. He also looked 30 years younger. He was extremely giddy and they were laughing together. And that’s where it ended.

The yelling stopped. Soon after I saw her walking down the hallway and stopping at the bedroom door my grandparents had shared. She wasn’t the end-of-life version of herself. More like the version from when I was born in her mid 60s. She stopped at the door, make eye contact with me, and smiled.

I kept hearing my grandma yell “help” from the bedroom she’d slept in the last few years she lived there. My mom had told me not to check on her if I heard her doing that. I didn’t check on her but after a while I did yell “I hear you grandma, I love you, you’re ok!”

Like what makes you think I work here (idc that she’s right) and if I have my belongings in my hands walking out the door how dare you demand something of me. I’m on me time right now!
