Wow, totally forgot about him lol.

Would be nice if he can bring some juice.

Something has to go really wrong, schematically, for Wilson to be in man coverage on basically any WR - but especially Tet.

He just has no chance lol

Kneeland has been pretty disappointing this year I think.

But Thomas has to make a better effort on the tackle than this. It's schemed and/or diagnosed perfectly, even if the Panthers blockers won, but he totally whiffed.

Just more Dak and Baker MVP fodder
October 8, 2025 at 5:27 PM
I think that, regardless of how the first and second units are defined - the plan is just going to be for Fox to stay on as long as he wants lol

Yes and no. Against 2-high like that, the look was always going to be Ferg.

Pickens was a bit lazy with it, for sure, but Ferg dropped that ball before the safety got there, iirc.

Unfortunately, they are incapable of learning.

This is stupid - as is the general idea that Dak is injury prone.

He had a fluke leg injury and broke his hand on a helmet. He's had one injury that would have anything to do with "breaking down."

~$45m, give or take, has always been the number because that's the same percentage of cap as TJ Watt's previous deal (~15%).

Garrett's number is ~14% and probably drove down Micah's price, if anything .

Micah is quite literally saying that the agent advised against it - Dallas wasn't going to get a deal done.

Regardless of if Jerry has waited too long to negotiate, the player has had no incentive to do anything until now. The trade request is just manufactured pressure to get wheels in motion.

This makes the most sense.

Trocheck clicked with Panarin but forced Mika into a matchup role, but Trochek makes much more sense (and I think was probably signed for) in a matchup role.

I'm sure Drury would trade him if he had the chance, but I bet he'd want more size/strength.

If they tried to move Panarin last year - and LAK/Byfield swap would have made a lot of sense, but Byfield is probably not an option now.

This should be so obvious to more people.

He is no different than basically every other coach - if the player is productive and the team is good, then the "drama" doesn't matter. If the player isn't productive or the team is bad, they trade the player lol
May 8, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Part of what I love about this trade is that - beyond the residual impact of his talent on the field - he is CD insurance if he gets injured.

You probably don't want Pickens as your #1 on a contender, but for a game or two it doesn't get much better.

I think Drury gets way too much flak, in general.

They're still paying for the Buch trade, to a degree, but I think he catches a fair amount of of blame that he shouldn't.

I don't really buy that there is motivation for 11 to sign that with any term. They would have known that he'd be immediately underpaid w/ the rising cap. Same for, Ja'Marr Chase.

The flip side of signing players early to save money is players getting less money.
April 23, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Fair enough. I just don't think that was ever realistic because his agents would have known that the number would immediately be low.

The "then it kind of backfires" line would have been been made much clearer before ink went to paper.
April 23, 2025 at 2:22 PM
This is, and always will be, a false narrative. The floor has always been $40m because of the rising cap.
