I certainly hope so, though I suspect this might just have to do with some algorithm shenanigans. The word "wealth" might've drawn bots to the post or something.

I mean, I think it's a cool post, I just didn't expect it to resonate so much with people, is all. I legitimately think it might've fallen in the good graces of some search algorithm, tbh.

Oh, for real? If so, I'm glad you liked it, lmao. I actually implemented a variation of the currency rules from the post in an elfgame I'm putting the finishing touches on!

Same! My Vampire NPC/domain generators are an integral part of how I run VtM nowadays, and the various OSR generators I've collected through the years are pretty much essential to my games.

YO, this is FIRE. Can't believe I missed this!!

Damn shame. Don't get me wrong, there's value in the theatrical, entertainment-oriented APs, and some of them can be a lot of fun, but it really bums me out how they eclipsed the organic AP format. Sometimes you really just want to watch some friends having fun with a game you're interested in.

Treasure the time you have with those you love, and if they're a part of your gaming crew, make sure to savour every campaign, every session, every adventure. Not even death can take away the stories we tell together.

Oooh! In that case, I definitely feel like you're gonna like it.

I haven't really watched Wrestling in a decade, but I definitely relate to the pain of trying to conciliate adult life with personal projects and hobbies, particularly because I have way too many of both.

Always nice to see Ruiner get the love it deserves. Great list, but just checking, is Citizen Sleeper in there somewhere and I somehow missed it, or is it a game you haven't gotten around to playing yet?

I *deeply love* all of the game-related work (that isn't scheduling and wrangling and interpersonal management), love building props and setting up stages and etc, making resources available, but there's a difference between "I like it" and "we just expect it from everyone, players do no work lmao"

The *expectation* that you'll handle all of those things as a GM is deeply problematic, though, don't get me wrong! I really wish we had a bigger opt-in culture for this. As is, saying "I'll GM, but y'all bring the props, print your own sheets and buy your own snacks" is a fast way to end a group.

I frequently feel like being a forever-GM is my second job, tbh. I'm fine with running the game, truly! Books, battle maps and miniatures are good excuses to collect shiny new things and feed my inner crow. I even enjoy prep (most of the time)! HATE the event organizer and people-wrangler part, tho.

I love West Marches, but they do seem like something that works better in theory than in practice. I've been trying to organise an open table inspired by that playstyle for years, and I always get stuck in the prep phase. I tell myself it's better this way, because it spares me from logistics, lmao.

My biggest joy when it comes to Witcher 3 is picking the kindest, most conciliatory options in every quest, because that's just what Book!Geralt would do. Definitely one of my favourite protagonists, and one of those rare cases where there's a great character hiding behind an edgy design.

Scheduling is such a big factor. I know a lot of people who'd love to get into TTRPGs, but most of their schedules just don't match with everyone else's, so they usually have two options: resignation, or joining random games online. And we all know how the latter usually works out, sadly.

Impeccable taste!
