This has mostly been the story since the early 90s and it has gotten us to this point. One would think at some point Dems would say enough?
Our biggest party problem is that Republican strategists focus on what Republican voters want and Democratic strategists also focus on what Republican voters want.
A Democratic messaging firm ("Navigator Research") tied to the establishment has sent out a memo on govt shutdown fight around DC this am.
They want the Democrats/progressives to focus on "bipartisanship" and focus no pissing of Republicans by talking about "stopping Trump." 🙃

Several of these are just random people. Third column, fourth row, is the only one who I know is actually trans. She's a professional MMA fighter with an active career. Basically a celebrity among trans people.

The major AI industry leaders stood next to Donald Trump at his inauguration. They talk about replacing artists and writers and creatives as a feature, not a bug. AI is deeply conservative and it astonishes me that people who are opposed to the conservative project would rely on it so carelessly

A character can have strong trans subtext even if the narrative is cissexist. I think it's reductive to say the work has to challenge cissexism to have a trans character.

Hana (otaku) has self-esteem issues that mostly vanish when "crossdressing", so that's a pretty huge flag for being transfem. Also, he says stuff like in the screenshot.
