I make signs and stickers and things. I never really got the hang of social media so I'm trying here but there probably won't be much going on in this feed. 🙃

they/them
Gelli plates and related accessories are great for kids that age. Also seconding a polaroid/instax camera or printer.

My habit of mentally cataloging all neighborhood dogs has paid off, and we celebrated the accomplishment with an ice cream. (Pumpkin and coconut, if you're wondering. It was delicious.)

Phew! Just sent you a DM with the info.

(Okay I was assuming you were asking because of research for something you were writing, But I hit reply and only then realized this may have been meant as a commentary on the present moment and I'm just very slow on the uptake. 🤦🏻)

Sorry I can't help directly but would you be interested in cold emailing someone? I had a history professor who focused on 19th and 20th century Italian culture/politics and he seemed like the type of person who would love to talk about this, or at least point you in the right direction.

I like seeing your author content/writing updates on my skyline, and even moreso really appreciate your feed of interesting, non-doomer posts. (And the cheery rainbow hat selfies are an added bonus and have made me want some type of rainbow hat for myself.) 😄

Though full disclosure: I was quite used to being at the bottom of my class (yay undiagnosed ADHD) and still did okay for myself. Also based on the updates I've seen about past exam grades etc. it seems like you're on the right track so try not to worry.

I'm not in medicine, but in a past career I was a biochemist who taught primarily pre-med and nursing students. I would not be worried about that grade, especially on just one exam. No one is going to be perfect in every topic and like you said you have other exams to bring it up.

I mean even most sick people don't wear masks anymore, so I think the options are more like "considerate" or "sick and considerate."

Or trans guys, if they're into that 👀

Seriously part of the reason I love this video so much is that it made me realize that transitioning didn't have to mean the end of wearing whatever clothes I want or being unable to dance however I want or anything like that.

3. My entire career path since 2005, and the circumstances that led to me running my small business, can be directly traced to that one time I saw a video of a flying lawnmower.

2. My grandmother really wanted me to like Barbie when I was young, but I would only accept ice skater Barbie (she had a *very sparkly* costume) and, um, zookeeper/safari Barbie? Because she came with a tiny animal. (A leopard I think?)

1. One day in grad school I was having a bad day so I stopped at the pet store on my way home and named one of the budgies (always a bad idea). I had to go back the next day and adopt him, and I still can't reconcile how much I like having pet birds with how much I hate loud noises. 🤔

Well this made my day 🤣

But on a related note, making most of your income from only two or three customers is not the best way to run a business so maybe I should work on that next?

I mean they were fine when I told them I was using a new name a few years ago, I don't know why I was so worried.

The other day they were on the porch and yelling on the phone, and okay their porch isn't far from our house, but yesterday they were inside and still very audible! (Also the shouting was done in between their multiple lawn mowing sessions, so, double yay.)
