Prague bound for the WLAN Pro’s Conference EU 2025!

First time I’ve headed out for the Bootcamp weekend, so nerdily excited for over 5 days of the Wi-Fi fire hose of knowledge.

If you’re going to be there please come and say hi 👋

This is how I started my Wi-Fi journey in our student house back in 2003. Obviously not using Mist, and also not using that expensive fancy Cisco PCMCIA adapter, it was cheaper PCI cards. But 802.11b sharing a 512kbps ADSL connection. It seemed like magic and still does today.
Transferring a CD-ROM image over 802.11b at 11 Mbps with a Mist AP12. -69 dBm with 27 dB SNR. FTP throughput is 250-265 Kbps.

Encrypted with WEP, and using Juniper Mist VxLAN rules to block access to the rest of my network. Insecure SSID is disabled whenever I’m not using it.

@octopus.energy - some feedback on the free electricity sessions ➡️

I'm probably trying to have my cake & eat it, but today my wife has taken our EV to work, as she does 3 days a week. As an IOG customer this means I can't partake in the free electricity session, as our EV won't be plugged in. TIA
