Yup, the roads our way were not ideal this morning. I live about 15 mins south of Elmvale. The A4 does pretty well, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the Yukon handles snow next year.

I may buy two 20 dollar ones from Amazon and MacGyver them into one appropriately long cable. I feel like I have very little to lose at this point.
I definitely cannot understand a simple cable costing 20 percent of what I paid for the whole damn blower new.

Both are just software, no MacGuffin necessary, so I'm not sure I get the distinction. One has the inconvenience of having to visit the dealer and the other doesn't.
It just suggests to me that both vehicles are arbitrarily restricted out of the box.

I can tell you mine was this colour and that one time I saw another one driving the opposite way with a plate that was 1 character different from mine. It was also this colour, so this checks out.

I would have been happy with either, I was using one of these as my school bag at the time (The cheap 90's version, not this modern one that's 95 quid)

That said, I would be interested in test driving the Diesel to see how it feels. I gather it's really smooth and the bottomless torque feels really well suited to the vehicle.
