Modes like FT4 and FT8 must be like a licence to print money for the more rare DXCC stations. Set WSJT-Z to auto CQ, make a drink, return to $50 USD 😂 I need to move.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a simple GPS track recorder?
I'm after a battery powered device that records GPX files (or similar) from a GPS module to an SD card. No cellular, etc, just simple local recording.
Ideally a commercial product, not a bare PCB.

Well, the first bug on the KX3 is fixed - no more ERR IOB - swapped out the IO expander B device after the thermal camera showed it getting hot for no reason. Came out fairly cleanly!
Next job to check the RX path and update the firmware. #hamradio

Looks to be related to the RF I/O board B. The radio is also deaf as a post, but seems to TX okay. Hmm.

Finally got around to sorting out the ADIFs and logs from various portable jaunts around Europe over the past few months. Just need to get my EA8/M1GEO/P certificate (I missed requesting it previously)

Have you considered using something like signpath.org to sign the Windows binaries? That would be awesome!

I had some fun reverse engineering CAN and RS485 on my Fogstar Drift Pro battery.
I want to create a display and integration for the battery into my campervan.

Decided to fault find my Yaesu FTM-500DE which was fine going into @Tesla but dead when returned.
Suspect reverse polarity incident as radio blew 15A fuses.
Snipped the 'idiot diode' and fixed fuses issue, but the radio was still dead.
Turned out to be a fault with current sense resistor (0R47).
