The greatest scientific achievement of Einstein was not the theory of relativity but the explanation of the photoelectric effect on which he received a Nobel prize.
Emmy Noether was arguably more important for physics than Einstein.
Poincare or someone else would have fully discovered relativity later that year, but anyone other than Noether being able to literally pull the laws of physics right out of abstract algebra would have been unlikely.
