The best feeling in the world

The days are long and we have so many challenges with the street dogs. But nothing will ever beat this feeling.

Probably my favorite rescue ever. King Whacker of Scotland.

He's been in his forever home for 2 years now. All the way from the street of Thailand

So many people ask me where my own dog Hank came from.

This huge boy was a rescue on the streets who was all out of options. His role now is to help the sick female patients as a therapy dog

She was skin and bones when I negotiated her release. She nearly died in the first few days but survived some close calls.

She was 12.5kg or 27 Lbs. about half what she should have been as a golden retriever.

This farm worker is picking cherries in Madera CA. He that last year he was paid $10 for every 23lb bucket BUT this year the farm labor contractor is ONLY paying $7 for the same size  bucket. He doesn't think this is fair but he needs this job to feed his family. #WeFeedYou

🚁 Tail not just up but wagging

🐕 Follows Hank’s every move.

🔪 Less than 5 weeks after being stabbed in the stomach.

I don’t often get emotional in the day to day but had a little wet eye looking at Chance following Hank today rebuilding her life 🥰🙏

This is the last hour I had with her.

She was already in heaven here even though she was still just alive.

I whispered her a promise that I would dedicate my life to ending suffering for street dogs all in her honor. That was 18 months ago.

Since her passing we have…

🏥Started to build her hospital
✂️Sterilized 80,000 dogs (stops over 800,000 puppies being born into suffering)
🥘Fed 500,000 fresh meals to street dogs

I have built a team and partners to do all those things in her honor

Tina become like a therapy dog in our sanctuary. All the dogs and humans loved her. She was fully grasping her second chance in life at about 8 years old. Finally free for the chain.

Myself and herself were inseparable.

It took me 2 months but we built her back into a wonderful dog.

Despite having had so much suffering she came with me everywhere. She was full of love.

Tina was the friendliest and most angelic dog I’ve ever met in my life.

This is Tina the day I found her, tied up on a chain in Thailand.

She had been used for breeding. I’ve never seen a more broken dog.

This is the story of how Tina became the dog who changed the world…

I always visualized her big happy face looking out in the number one spot and today is that day.

🇬🇧 Number 1
🇮🇪 Number 1

Of course those are silly little numbers as real stuff is the 80,000 dogs sterilized and the hospital.

This moment is for you Tina. I love you ❤️

Tina hit number 3 on the NYT bestseller list in America as well. Would have been higher but for shortage of stock.
