Wth with "motion to dismiss"?? The trial phase ended when the verdict was returned so can't be dismissed any longer. A judge may postpone sentencing for a set time, but that is an administrative duty of judges they have to get to eventually, afaik, not part of the trial. /1
New York Judge Juan Merchan has postponed Donald Trump's sentencing indefinitely.
But he also granted Trump's attorneys' request to file a motion to dismiss the charges.
They have until December 2nd to file that motion to dismiss.
