@magic.cardmarket.com Is there a reason why the site uses such short-lived cookies for auth? Could you not extend the life of the cookies to something more reasonable like 1 week to 1 month and just gate important stuff like money withdrawal behind additional login + TOTP 2FA checks?

Well I'm glad to have been an honorary resident of the Republic or Ireland or the Netherlands each time a service has tried to get ID out of me: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
ID photos of 70,000 users may have been leaked, Discord says
The platform says hackers targeted a firm that helped to verify the ages of its users.

Team Cherry told me that Hollow Knight has sold 15 million copies, making it one of the biggest indie games of all time.

What's really wild is that in February 2019, when Silksong was announced, Hollow Knight had only sold 2.8 million copies.

Why ‘Silksong’ Took Seven Years to Make
The highly anticipated indie game has been in production for so long that it’s become an internet meme

I hope with these back to back heatwaves there are some ministers at home sweating puddles writing an email to their departments asking why we effectively ban AC in new builds and block air to air source heat pumps from government subsidy.

It's very hot today so I wrote about the UK's anti-air conditioning policies and why getting rid of them could be the secret to getting us to install heat pump.

Labour's immigration announcement today is a reflection of the paucity of honest debate by BOTH political parties over the last decade on this issue.

Labour has never made a counter-argument, or been honest about economic cost of immigration curbs, so it's stuck making Tory/Reform arguments 1/n

It didn't even take a day before the briefings started that it is apparently its Ed Miliband's fault. briefing against their only effective minister have begun: www.politicshome.com/news/article...

Looking forward to the brains in No. 10 concluding from these elections that they need to double down on being ersatz Reform and randomly sack Ed Miliband for being too good at his job and making the rest of them look bad.

The new native TS compiler is a stunning tech feat. A gift to the community. A thoughtful plan to preserve expectations. So reactions surprised me!

JS folk: Cool! An OSS project I rely on & don't pay for is now 10x faster 😍

Rust folk: Curious! Let's learn more about this choice.

Pretty sure that under Braverman's lower bound of her de facto ethnocentric definition of "Englishness" I'm not English because my great grandparents were Irish Catholics. World is going mad and bad and all of the racists are coming out of the woodwork.

Btw if Europe is going to replace the US national security state, I also expect us to secretly sponsor subversive, avant-garde [but subtly neoliberal] art, poetry, philosophy, etc. around the world. Finally, a sustainable business model for Creatives.
It’s more important than ever for Europe to fund strategic open source projects for open, decentralized communication systems (like Matrix) and application platforms/the open web (like Servo). We all need to be in control of our own computers, and it makes sense to fund as defense spending.

Listened to r4's Today and hear Robinson in an interview with a CDU rep questioning the democracy of Germany because the AFD (a neo nazi party) won't be in government and ends his segment effectively rallying for the AFD at the next election. I was right to stop listening to this shit after 2016.

Civ 7 is probably the best day one release experience of Civ I've had having played 4, 5, and 6 on release and being someone that strongly prefers 5 to 6. There are some rough bits and clear holes for future expansions/DLC, but the bones of it are in a word, fun.
