Reality check here:

Trump’s approval ratings with the American public are still high. Especially on immigration (deportation!) and on axing the State (DOGE!) and on foreign policy (abandoning Ukraine!). The only area of dissatisfaction is the economy, and it’s only 55%

Anyone got any ideas?

I have just learned that Donald Trump signed an Executive Order stopping the US courts from prosecuting US companies and individuals accused of bribing foreign officials to obtain contracts! I can remember the international business scene of 30+ years ago. It was not pretty!

Dear fellow Europeans, just a serious word of caution. Perhaps consider not visiting USA for your vacations until this situation comes to an end, in about 1500 days. Genuine concern for your safety.

BBC correspondent, Sarah Smith, just saying let Trump be judged 'by his actions'.

🙄

Like the rape, Sarah? Or the grifting? Or lying? Or racism? Or sexism? Or white supremacist shit?

Like those actions, Sarah?

So, Tories finally admit they left the EU with no plan “for growth”.
They also had no plan for trade, science, the arts, business, jobs, training, education, travel, farming, fishing, borders, immigration, healthcare, regulations, food security…
for ANYTHING…
A catastrophe of prejudiced uselessness.

Does Musk genuinely believe that his rhetoric chimes with the vast majority of ordinary people in the UK?

The increasing toxicity in UK politics is deeply concerning. The polarization, personal attacks, and lack of constructive dialogue are eroding trust and damaging democracy. We need to refocus on meaningful debate and solutions, not divisiveness and hostility. #UKPolitics #CivilityInPolitics
