Oh no…. I just got LBA classic 1&2 the other day… Such a fundamental piece of my childhood. I’ll replay it thinking of him…

Labubu never stood a chance.

That would be great. Maybe you can locate them by the sound they make if you manage to get your hands on recordings. And ofc the mosquito stops making sounds when you turn on the light 😜

“… generate interactive 3D worlds from an image or text prompt based on a single specified viewpoint and building out from there rather than conditioning on a global reference image or full layout.”
So basically embrace the chaos.
And as usual the big question for me is how editable is this?

Gotcha. Sorry I assumed the the video was the most updated example and was confused. But I get it now. The staircase could be interesting, I wonder how well it plays with txt description and file names. Would work great with the thumb swipe gesture to spin the staircase to navigate up and down.

Ah, nice to see the breadcrumbs of the navigation. There definitely some nice visual paradigms to find there (maybe smaller and closer so navigating back is easier).
Still the very tall lists make some files literally unreachable. I wonder if actually an more horizontal distribution would help.

That would be great! The lack of ability to manipulate the position and scale of the splats with controllers in Supersplat really limits the experience.
If you get around to it what would be your angle? A general purpose viewer or focus on the bugs?

That’s very insightful, thank you. I’m in a similar position, starting some prototyping in UE (more familiar with it) but Epic seems to be dropping the ball lately with their Open XR implementations (especially on hand tracking for Android). So lurking around Godot 👀
So thanks for sharing.

Gaussian inception. I love it!
We had a great session with the kid watching giant bugs in the living room on the Quest. Thanks for that 🙏

While I do agree there’s no min max quality for placeholders there is a value in signaling very veeeeeery clearly that an asset is not finished when play testing.
An eye sore can be very distracting and if not flagged people tend to focus on that more than anything else when asking for feedback

As usual thank you Ken. Great interview and what a discovery for me.
Also I must say, I really like the unusual format (written interview then voiced). Somehow was a bit eerie and ethearal than usual (but that’s fitting the topic) but also much more focused.

Congrats to the whole team! Looks epic.
