Very true, the Lend-Lease Act was vitally important to the UK. But it wasn't all one-way, we had to borrow huge amounts in 1945 to try and rebuild our war-shattered country. Most Americans probably don't know that we honoured that debt and made the final repayment to the US in 2006.

Brexit robbed us all of our freedom of movement, the wealthy could buy EU passports so they didn't care. The rest of us suffer from the loss.
I am really glad my grandchildren will be able to live and work across the EU, so thank you so much for the bill, but I'm still so sad for the likes of me.
