I'd actually love to see a graph of that number over the history of the country if the data exists, that would be fascinating.

It's almost a familiar storyline by now.
1. An "egregious" violation of a students' rights by a teacher.
2. It turns out to be run of the mill bad work by the student.
3. It turns out to have been provoked or amplified by a huge network of right wingers.
4. Targeting trans people
