Not a coincidence that this "everything is women's fault" rhetoric in US fandoms is being spread at the same time in which Republicans talk about how women are ruining society and shouldn't have the right to vote. They should self reflect, but they get mad when a foreigner tells them that, so...

I've discussed this with the other girls in the Brazilian fandom. We think that right wing extremism has been normalized in the US to such an extent that even people who consider themselves as progressive are now spouting crazy levels of misogyny and homophobia without recognizing it as such.
