A bit later than intended, but I threw this doodle together for #15YearsOfRain. I found the comic a bit after it had ended, but it had such a profound impact on me that I can't quite put into words.

(kinda wish i'd finished this earlier so i could've posted it on trans day of remembrance but)

Haven't drawn much in a while, but I had some unfinished fanart for when Rain ended and decided to finish that and do a bit more for the anniversary, so here are some slightly out-of-practice drawings.

First thing I've drawn in three weeks as I've been so drained from being so sick lately. I'm still recovering, but I just wanna get back to it, so here's a little practice to ease me back into things.

So here's me posting this again. Same rules apply. Relike/reshare/rerepost if you like, and make sure to include #15YearsOfRain in your posts.
On November 29th, it will be the 15th anniversary since the first page of Rain went up. So I thought it would be fun if we could celebrate with some creative endeavors. Such as: Simple fan art. Draw a favorite character, a favorite pairing, a favorite moment, or pack as much of the cast as you can fit onto the page. Whatever you like! Or do a fan comic! If you're feeling adventurous, come up with a whole scene for Rain and/or her friends to experience. You could make a genuinely new scene, a Rain Delay parody, or even redraw an entire page in your own style. Have fun with it! Do as much or as little as you want. I don't want anyone feeling obligated to destroy themselves making it perfect, or stressing out because they have a lot going on. Just do what you can if you can. When you're ready, make sure share it with #15YearsOfRain on social media, and I'll shout you out and reshare it. I want to fill November with Rain art, leading up to the anniversary at the end of the month, and the upcoming release of the final volume. Let's have some fun with this!

This is some of my earliest contributions to #15YearsofRain: an Indonesian fan-translation! I'm not a professional btw, I was just having fun and trying out something I've never done before. I've posted this on Tumblr (and have explained why I chose these pages in particular). :D
Well, the first page was simply where the idea suddenly struck me, "I wonder how it'd feel like to read Rain in my native language." And the second page was because I wanted to include something that had the discussion of Rain's crush on Emily, and I chose a page that doesn't have lengthy text, so it's easier to work on. Also, I don't know what fonts Jocelyn used (they seem basic but I can't find them in my software), so I had to make do with what I have here.

I’ve been reading Rain ever since I realized I’m trans, and I really, really can’t say anything except that it’s amazing and absolutely deserves a larger fanbase. So, I had to do something with my favorite couple! (I absolutely love the design of Adult Chanel!! :3)

Some amount of months ago, Jocelyn @lynnsenpai.bsky.social mentioned that this November would mark the fifteenth anniversary of Rain. I made a note to have a comic about it, and when I learned she was going to put out the call for folks to celebrate, I was like… “oh heck yes.”

I wouldn't have discovered I was Trans as early as I did, without Rain. I always wanted to be a girl, but I thought it was impossible. It guided me on how to transition, and as I do so right now, I catch myself saying, “Oh, I get that part way more!”
