I walk, and draw and write badly.

My hiking journals aren’t very interesting, but they’re very me.
*Now going home.

Had a great time today. I saw the folklore exhibition and toddled over to the British Museum, all in fine autumnal sunshine. No going home.

Dear God…

I can’t begin to tell you how this makes me scream into the void. Data and Record Management should be in the core of IT, but it’s seen as boring and not sexy. As a Business Analyst I tried but couldn’t make ANYONE take even a passing interest in it.

And now - breakfast!

Excellent night, chaps! I knocked them dead , ate a pretty good meal and had some decent wine and didn’t have to be poured into a taxi back to the hotel. A big win in my book!

I’m in the hotel where everyone gathered before the big reveal. But I trooped up to the posher hotel for a freebie meal an an interminable awards ceremony (great night though). I saw the blurb of the film and I knew it would be a stinker.

I’ve had a lovely afternoon perusing the shops of Covent Garden and Seven Dials and eating nice nibbles. I walked u through Piccadilly to Green Park deciding on tomorrow’s breakfast (F&M?). Now to get ready for The Do!

And you will find that people will understand and still love you after that no - life can’t be ‘yes’ all the time. The ‘yes’s’ are special.

Re-reading that it sounds bogglingly stupid from beginning to end (what happens in year 1001?) but I still marvel at it.

I ‘always’ marvel at the thought that *every* single day to this point has been ‘today’ to the people living in it. 1000 years from now that will still apply.

Ah, modern folklore, but still good.

Ooh! Interesting! I’m leaning towards the Medieval Folklore Exhibition in Fitzrovia, but that’s a possibility.

People may criticise the BBC but name me any other broadcaster that would launch live immersive episodes of W1A and The Thick of It in the same week without any advance notice. That's visionary stuff.
