By rights it should have been Brie, instead of American cheese, and it should have been grilled, not toasted, but I was hungry and lazy. I give you, cheese, figs, and basil on oat bread. These are the first figs from the tree I planted last year. The basil is homegrown, too. :-)

Instead of dueling on their own personal social media sites, perhaps we could encourage an actual old fashioned duel—you know, 20 paces and all that... We’d at least be rid of one of them.

This sentence made me do a spit take with my peach tea. 🤣

Lulu is acknowledging #Caturday by walking around the house meowing loudly. It’s the 20-year-old cat equivalent of a 94-year-old man yelling for you to get off the lawn.

The wind was too intense and knocked over some of my daffodils, so I brought them inside along with some bleeding hearts.

Never realized Life cereal was made in Canada until today. I guess cereal will become even more expensive now.

I can’t watch because his orange face and whiny voice make me want to vomit.

That orange cretin. My entire body hums with disgust at his voice, his face, his demeanor, his bloat. I am ashamed of his words and enraged by his actions. It’s white hot rage.

I saw a video today that said as a Major in the National Guard Pete Hegseth oversaw an annual budget of $10M. When I was working, I was responsible for maintaining recurring revenue of $786M in addition to a travel & expense budget of several million. I’m not qualified to run the Pentagon, either.
