Nature doing its resilience thing so well, thin strands firmly planted, yet flexible. The sight of plants moving in nature like never fails to move me, curiously peaceful 🤩

Small tweaks from shared wisdom make a huge difference - florist friend told me changing the water in flowers makes them last longer - my mother’s day flowers still going strong 😊 I love sharing simple tips with clients - switch “I will be ok” to “I am here and I’m ok” for #anxiety really helps

When clients have come to me with their workplace problems, this is feedback I love “Thank you so much for today. I felt so much lighter and a bit more clear headed.”

my work is mostly helping people with this, which I wish I had known a lot sooner myself, “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. “ 🌸 Anaïs Nin

Two things I try and remember about stories my mind makes up that help - meet the future when it happens and don’t wait to be ready 😍

Small things can mean a lot, in contrast to what most media portray, most people are kind at heart unless they are bent out of shape with experience.

I'm a fan of solitude so long as I'm connected with something I enjoy - nature, walking, a good book or just peace and quiet which was my wish for every birthday the kids asked me what I wanted and didn't believe me
Loneliness is not solitude.
Solitude requires being alone, whereas loneliness shows itself most sharply in company with others.

Bit brutal but useful advice from a therapy chum for when you are holding yourself back “It's better to do it than live with the fear of it. Better to get the shit behind you than keep it ahead”
