Today I photographed the National Cathedral — chatting with students on field trips from Ohio and South Carolina.

Washington, DC is a beautiful place. These young people count on the president to preserve our buildings and institutions, not destroy them.

“It was not just the attorney general's verbal violence that was striking, but also the silence of the Republican Party. Neither Charles Grassley, the veteran who chairs the Judiciary Committee, nor any of his colleagues called Bondi to order.” -- Hugo Toudic, Sorbonne/ University of Chicago

This could have been President Biden, yet Trump can claim peacemaker. Biden sabotaged ceasefire and hostage deals by continuing to arm and enable Netanyahu’s siege of Gaza — with our taxdollars. May peace hold.

As a parent I’m pleased DC schools banned cell phones! Some DC middle schools banned 2 yrs ago.

Cell phones 1) Distract students 2) Cause anxiety since peers take photos secretly in hallways and bathrooms— and share! 3) Burden teachers w/job of detecting cell use.

(See Jackson Reed HS policy.)
