@lynn-hardaker.bsky.social
Canadian artist & writer living in a mediaeval German town.
Love nature, art, & literature. Currently working on two MG novels: one an 18th century fantasy, the other a 1920s cozy mystery.
Found a wee nest yesterday, woven with cedar leaves, the thinnest of twigs, fur, human hair, string, and a plastic tie. A piece of woven poetry; beautiful and terribly, terribly sad.

Saw this on the outskirts of Regensburg a little while back. Made me think of you, @stevetoase.bsky.social. 🙂

This just arrived: Liz Williams' "Compendium of the Occult". It's gorgeous, with beautiful photos, cover, binding, as you'd expect from Thames & Hudson. I love Liz's work and can't wait to dive into this one.

I love old man's beard. They are part plant, part moth, part spider; and I always imagine them wandering about, freely, with a beautiful dancing gait.

Yup.
I am suspicious of people who post ‘content’ too often. I like my people messy and inconsistent, with large gaps in their resumés where the Universe took them and all plans were swept aside, maybe by Joy, maybe Despair, maybe something else altogether. Keep it ragged, people.

Two exciting, mythic works in progress by Caroline: a wonderful artist and a dear friend.
I'm working with the elements of ocean & desert; one of dreams, the other of Celtic myth. Two works in progress. Both oil on canvas and
36 x 48. #wip #selkie #myths #dreams
