Oh, wow! Did you do the soles yourself too, or partner with a cobbler...?

I'm jealous and now scheming 🤔

I am super impressed by all the bows. Also, I can never get collars to look good--that's amazing! Even more so with all the layers around it.

Everything about this is so cute too!

Oh nice! I'm excited to see how that turns out!

I keep meaning to make a patch jacket, but get distracted with other things. Reach out if you want any embroidery resources or pattern advice. I'll do my best! 💪

Looks like a Canadian store got covered.

Most important is getting a sashiko needle and a thimble. The needles are longer so you can carry more stitches, allowing easier geometric shapes. The thimble is a MUST to quickly push the needle through without destroying your fingers/hand.

No idea what's meant by "washable glue." That has me baffled.

If they mean fabric glue or even elmer's glue--no! Don't do it!

I think they're asking how to create starch at home (I've heard of people essentially dunking fabric in the water after boiling potatoes but never done it, for example)...but you can also just buy potato starch if you don't want to get laundry starch (yes, they still sell it!)

Found Arnold Schwarzenegger very eloquent on how his Nazi father had to deal with the aftermath of WW2 www.cbsnews.com/news/arnold-...
Arnold Schwarzenegger warns those on a "path of hate" and antisemitism, they could end up a "loser" like his Nazi father
"Hate burns fast and bright. It might make you feel empowered for a while, but it eventually consumes whatever vessel it fuels," Schwarzenegger said.
