speaking of clair obscur. the reveal that verso dyes his hair shook me to my core. all the other bombshells were sufficiently foreshadowed but this was crazy. he was literally correct in that cutscene when he said this was deep and personal info. and his stylist is BAD at it!!! i’m still trembling

i fundamentally do not understand people who want to read and/or write historical romance novels where the characters have modern ideas about love/politics/etc. what is the point of the historical setting, then? genuinely truly baffling. to me.

my coworker’s partner works at the farmers market so he is always bringing in goodies for us. and this week he brought hydrangeas for me, which i love but never buy because they’re toxic to my foster cat. but i can enjoy them in the office! there are small unexpected joys everywhere
