As a romance author my feelings towards Valentines Day is similar to how I think cosplayers feel during Halloween.
Like I'm so excited ya'll are focusing on love and romance today, but it already my life 24/7.
That said I did go a little extra on the desserts and games today 🥰

I'm about half way through Beholder by Ryan La Sala and I'm nerdying out about POV. Such good storytelling!

Lunch break between rounds of revisions.

There is nothing more gratifying than slogging through a messy chapter and suddenly having the one piece that pulls it all together. Revisions are my least favorite part of the writing process, but man are the reward great.

Made myself a snack between finishing my revisions for the day and going to play D&D. Sometimes I wonder if I'm TOO good at self-care
