please read this! if you are going to talk about comms or sensitive stuff or whatever, its better to discuss the details somewhere else! just be safe and conscious about what you send in dms to avoid any kind of trouble for yourself in future
This is worth noting. There are no private posts on here, and you should NOT send anything sensitive in DMs, they are not properly encrypted
PRIVACY: Bluesky is fundamentally an open and public network, and your posts are public data. But you can make them a *little* less public by flipping this switch under Settings > Moderation. It forces Bluesky app users to log in to view your posts (and you're less likely to show up in searches). 🧵

You can bookmark a post by commenting on it with a 📌. Once you've done that, it will appear in your "my pins" feed (link below). These are only visible to you.
(Also I mute the emoji so I don't have to see it every time someone pins something!)

BY THE WAY, THIS IS IMPORTANT. If you want everyone showing up on your feeds, you gotta go into Settings > Basic > Languages and clear the Content Languages field. Essential.
