finally finished a new personal piece, and i'm happy with it but for the first time i don't look forward to sharing it in the slightest for some reason.. can't pinpoint a reason why but sharing art hasn't been as fun anymore

i don't really do fan art anymore, but the story in reverse 1999 has me in a chokehold....... genuinely don't think i'll be able to work more on this. but. a girl can dream

depression sure be hitting hard today. i feel like i've been working incessantly since the year started, and that goes on year after year, and i keep having nothing to show for it lol true go girl give us nothing energy

I have managed to make some writing progress again today, and I broke 20k words for my necromancers story 🖤 now that I drafted this chapter I was struggling with, I'm hoping it gets a little easier again (especially because things are about to go very wrong very quickly lol)

on main i saw this post asking people to talk about their historical setting stories, and sometimes the little devil on my shoulder says i could write a cool 1400 florence drama if i wrote ryan's backstory, but luckily there is a little angel to remind me about the other book and a half i'm writing

getting hit with very negative feelings about my art AND writing out of the blue truly sucks i guess it'll come to pass... my brain can't let me be in a good mood for too long I suppose

struggling to get work while also having very little confidence is an awful combo because that confidence gets knocked right into oblivion... i try to tell myself this year has been so much better than the past, but it's so tiring to be fighting so much all the time 😔
