Got two little pumpkins broken down last week and will do another three soon. That should be enough for holiday pies and two-three soups.

This is normal! I didn't realize it until I was working at JoAnn's and chatting with customers/coworkers.
I have a blanket that I started back in 2019, just needs its edges done, and it languishes while I work on more exciting projects 😅

When you go to the Carrousel Museum in North Tonawanda, NY, at some point you will hear what sounds like a live band: brassy, vibrating with drums.
It's not a band, it's the Wurlitzer playing automated music, its instruments played by mechanical means.

The high heat and humidity is only good for seeing the first frog of the year and maybe fireflies later if I'm lucky 🙂

Our boy Yossarian likes pizza, spaghetti, Ramen, Chinese takeout, burgers and fries from any fast food place. You can tell his first owner was a teenage boy. Thankfully we don't get takeout often and he's a healthy guy now.
