Not a "thing", but...Skadi, his hawk. She's been his companion since the day he left the forest and was his only company throughout much of his travels. She knows him the best and takes it upon herself to be his comfort when he's feeling down, and he appreciates her a lot.

His tail is sensitive so he never lets anyone besides his partners touch it, or if little kids ask nicely. If someone grabs/pulls it without asking he WILL kick out of reflex and it will hurt.
He brushes it regularly to keep it looking clean and fluffy!
