I feel the "egg prime directive" is one of those where for certain types of people they will immediately double down and go further into denial, but for alot of "hey what if" inquisitive minded people going "hey alot of trans people experience these feelings" may help people onto the right track

I'd say super Sentai is a great next step if you have affection for power rangers, Specially some of the 90's shows as 90's super Sentai is extra good, my personal first was Gosei Sentai Dairanger (the one that was only half adapted to power rangers series 2) as i found it fresh but also familiar

And imo it really works to the shows favour

People draw a solid line between "real" and "super" robots with Gundam being the first clear example of real when in reality shows like Zambot, Combattler V, Voltes and Daimos had set the stage for Gundam gradually over a period of 3/4 years, 0079 still has most of the dna of a 70s super robot show

I'm watching Galaxy express 999 on and off and I will be for sure keeping an ear out for shuichi Ikeda's dulcet tones

To be fair super robot wars games are oppressively long paired with there being so god damn many of them

I adore Thracia, one of my favourite examples of a game creating an atmosphere through gameplay and limited resource, the game feels oppressive to play but having to rely on capturing your enemies weapons and items really adds a feel of "scrappy resistance"

Genuinely one of my favourite master grades I've built (though alot of that may be bias towards how much I love the Turn A and the series itself)

I'd watch the heck outta that!

I will die on the hill that victory is not as bad as people often say it is, got some a grade character "why the fuck did you do that" moments but I enjoy it alot, also space wheels is good and epic actually and people don't understand the genius of them
